Scout Day and Small Groups

Scouts picking their pumpkins! BUCKELEW FARM will be having its 22^nd annual PUMPKIN FESTIVAL and CORN MAZE in October 2010. We have had an excellent response from Scouts and leaders and other small groups who have participated in our field trips in the past.

We have set aside a special discount day for Scout field trips and other small groups. This special day will be Friday, October 15th (TUSD students will have no school this day due to teacher grading day) from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

We will have three activity options available this year for your enjoyment:

THE PUMPKIN FESTIVAL FIELD TRIP - The cost is $6.00 per person, which includes a tractor-drawn wagon ride to and from the pumpkin patch and one pumpkin each. The price applies to ALL who attend: Scouts, leaders, parents and siblings (children in diapers are free). We recommend you allow at least 1- 1 1/2 hours to enjoy this event.
THE CORN MAZE - The Maze is back by popular demand and is in a completely new design. Over 4 miles of trail winds through 11-acres of corn with 12 checkpoints to guide you and a punch card to help gauge your success. A special rate, on October 16th only, will be just $6.00 per person (children 5 years and under are free). We recommend you allow two hours to complete the maze.
Combo Package - both events listed above can be purchased for a discount price of $10.00 per person.

We will have a variety of food items available from our snack bar. On this day, you are also welcome to bring a picnic and eat under our dining tent.

If you are unable to take advantage of this special Scout Day on October 16th, please remember that we will be open to the general public for our PUMPKIN FESTIVAL and CORN MAZE on the last 3 weekends in October. Wear your Scout uniform and get a 5-cent per pound discount on your pumpkins.
